Innersloth's 2018 multiplayer social deduction game, Among Us, is a game set in a space-themed setting. In the game, players take on one of two roles, with the majority of players being Crewmates and a small number of players being Impostors. The Crewmates' goal is to identify the Impostors, eliminate them, and complete tasks around the map. The Impostors' goal is to covertly sabotage and kill the Crewmates before they complete all of their tasks. The Crewmates win if all Impostors are ejected or all tasks are completed, and the Impostors win if there is an equal number of Impostors and Crewmates or if a critical sabotage goes unresolved.

Gameplay

The Crewmates' job is to identify the Impostors and eliminate them. In order to do this, they complete tasks and report suspicious activity to the other Crewmates. Crewmates will need to use a variety of tactics to win the game, such as using their ability to vote on who they think is an Impostor, reporting the deaths of other players, and sabotaging the Impostors' plans. The Impostors' job is to covertly sabotage and kill the Crewmates before they complete all of their tasks. Impostors can do this by making Crewmates suspicious of each other, by killing them, or by sabotaging the tasks that they are doing.

Graphics

The graphics of the game are, for the most part, realistic, with the exception of the Crewmates' avatars. Crewmates' avatars are composed of geometric shapes and have glowing lines to represent their eyes. The Impostors' avatars look more like robots, with their body being one color and their eyes blinking in a solid color.

Information about replayability

The game is currently available on iOS and Android, with a planned release for Windows in November 2018, and on the Nintendo Switch in December 2020. The game is currently available on three maps: The Skeld, MIRA HQ, Polus, and The Airship. The Skeld is a map set in the Arctic; MIRA HQ is a map set in a secret research facility; Polus is a map set on a frozen ocean; and The Airship is a map set on a spaceship in orbit around an unknown planet.
