Stellar Blade Will Have New Game + at Launch

Stellar Blade, slated for release on April 26, 2024, is exciting fans with a new addition. Those who complete the game can embark on Eve’s mission anew with the advent of the New Game Plus (NG+) mode. This mode, detailed in a recent PlayStation Blog post, revitalizes gameplay by allowing players to retain their acquired skills and face new, tougher challenges with a more powerful Eve.

The NG+ mode enhances the action-adventure experience with significant gear upgrades, allowing the elevation of Eve's weapons, health, Beta Energy, and Tumbler abilities well beyond their original capacities. "Mk2" gear enhancements introduce deeper customization options such as faster attack speeds, conversion of damage types, and improved shield-breaking capabilities.

Players can look forward to unlocking "Infinite Skills," a set of upgrades enhancing existing Beta Skills that may alter gameplay dynamics or add utility benefits. This includes 17 diverse new skills distributed among Beta, Burst, and Drone skill trees.

As players venture into NG+, they will encounter stronger enemies and possibly new enemy layouts, ensuring that gameplay remains challenging and engaging.
